The Municipality of Sežana established the Higher Education Centre Sežana more than six years ago. This Institution provides for the development of new study curricula, ensures that post-secondary and undergraduate studies are conducted under optimum conditions, establishes conditions for scientific research work, and conditions for ensuring that students can concentrate on their studies without interruption or disturbance. The Higher Education Centre Sežana operates on the premises of the Business Innovation Centre.
We posses: a conference hall (76 seats), a large lecture hall (70 seats), lecture rooms (64 seats each), a computer classroom (30 workstations), a photographic laboratory with a studio (34 workstations), a designing laboratory (24 workstations), a small lecture room (18 seats), a photographic darkroom and a student common room. The Higher Education Centre is also able to provide a Teachers’ Staff Room, the Headmaster’s Office and the Organisational Unit of the Higher Vocational College (known as Višja strokovna šola), the Cabinet of the Higher Vocational College (Višja strokovna šola), the Laboratory for Geomagnetism and Aeronomy and rooms for its own operations.
Two workshops for designing stonework are located 10 metres away from the Higher Education Centre Sežana.

You can get from the Higher Education Centre Sežana to the Bus or Rail Station in 5 minutes by foot. The exit from the highway is only about a hundred metres from the Higher Education Centre Sežana. In front of it, there is a large car park. The Higher Education Centre Sežana is obliged to provide meals: inside its building there is a restaurant (the ‘Spark’), and 500 m further on there is another restaurant in the Spar shopping mall. In both you can use right of subsidized student meals.
